What is Blue Spoons?

Blue Spoons is a company committed to spreading support, hope, and help for people affected by sexual inappropriateness by giving 100% of profits to fund crucial, yet costly, counseling/treatment services for sexual abuse survivors.

Where does the money go?

100% of profits from sales (which is at least 50% of the purchase price for each product!) go directly to established counseling centers and treatment programs as a “scholarship” for the approved individual. These individuals undergo a careful and extensive application process to receive funding at the counseling/treatment center best fit for them based on their location, specialty, and services provided.

Why are product sales so important?

Each product spreads hope, provides help, shares love, and shows support. It spreads the Blue Spoons message to someone who might not have found out about us otherwise. It funds treatment services for individuals affected by sexual inappropriateness, who could not otherwise afford it. It makes a statement to those around you, showing your support and your commitment to helping hurting individuals find hope and happiness.

How do I apply for help?

We are so glad you asked! You can view information regarding application, and fill out a preliminary application form here. Please allow 2 business days for a Blue Spoons member to respond before inquiring about the status of your submission. The application process is a careful and extensive one, adhering to a zero discrimination policy. Please note however we are unable to approve every applicant for funding based on a number of non-discriminatory factors.

We are so grateful you would think of us for your event! Though we cannot accommodate every speaking request we receive, we do our best to attend as many as possible. Can I use the “Blue Spoons” name, spoon design, and/or logo?

Outside of Blue Spoons-approved events and materials, the Blue Spoons name, spoon design, logos, and slogans cannot be used outside of official Blue Spoons purposes, as they are legally protected by the company. This ensures 100% of the profits actually go toward helping individuals and are in-line with our mission.


If you want to use the official Blue Spoons name and logo for an event or other purpose, please email for approval. Please include as much information as possible as to how it will be used and for what purposes. A Blue Spoons team member will get back with you within 2 business days.

How do I care for my spoon?

Over time with normal love and wear, it’s expected for the pewter to lose its shine or have small surface scratches. Restoring your spoon to new is easy! Simply use a jewelry metal polishing cloth to rub the tarnished spoon gently. Wipe polish off while still wet with a buffing cloth. You will probably notice some black spots on the cloths, which means your spoon is now shiny and clean! Cloths can be reused even if discolored. We use Cape Cod metal jewelry polishing and buffing cloths on each spoon prior to shipping.


We also recommend not getting your spoon overly wet, or bending the handle, as permanent discoloration or breakage could occur.

Are all the spoons and jewelry nickel-free?

Yes! Our spoons were made to love, not hurt. So great care has been taken with all items in our shop (spoons, necklace chains, etc.) to ensure they are nickel and lead free.


In the rare occurrence that a product in our shop does cause a reaction, please email us immediately at Not only will we process a full refund for you, but we will also conduct a thorough inspection to determine where it could be coming from in order to prevent the problem from happening again.

How soon will I receive my order?

We’re so glad you’re excited about your order! We do our best to process all orders for shipment within 72 hours of receiving them – with the exception of weekends, holidays, and rush times. Currently all orders are shipped via USPS Priority mail flat-rate, which arrives in about 2-5 business days depending on the destination.


As a general rule of thumb (not a guarantee however), we ask that you allow:

3 days processing + 5 days shipping = 8 business days to receive your package


We understand you may need your order sooner than 8 business days. If so, please be sure to add the “Express Ship” product to your cart for an additional $12, and we will expedite the processing and shipping times to have your order arrive in about 3-5 days.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We accept refunds and exchanges up to 30 days from the date the order is placed. If 30 days has passed since you placed your order, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange.


All returns must be approved by our Customer Service department prior to you making the return shipment as we offer different return solutions depending on the nature of the return. Please email before 30 days of ordering has expired to begin the return/exchange process.


Note that any item damaged after delivery is ineligible for return or exchange. If your order was damaged upon arrival, please immediately take a photo and send it (along with your order number) to with the subject line “Damaged Delivery” so we can process a replacement for you asap!

I have not received any emails about my order, was it placed?

Good question! If you did not receive an Order Confirmation email shortly after placing your order, it is possible the order was not fully placed or that your email was entered incorrectly. Please reach out to Customer Service at if you did not receive your Order Confirmation and we’ll make sure it gets straightened out.
